apply
The application procedure for professional arts education deviates from the regular procedure in higher professional education. Prior to admission you will need to do an audition. This will determine whether you meet the admission requirements as described on this website. Each study course has its own admission procedure accompanied by selection criteria and additional requirements. The contents of the auditions are geared to the demands that the courses and the professional practice in future will make on the student. A committee made up of teachers of the conservatoire holds auditions.
The audition is a test for talent, knowledge, skills and learning potential for the study course you apply for. The audition consists of a music theoretical and a practical part. In general, an ear for music, feeling for rhythm, improvisational skills, affinity with music of the chosen main subject, talent, learning potential and motivation will be tested.
Apply for an audition can only be done via the application form.
